Friends, Associates or Meddler

how can we tell the different? spending time with people gives us insight to who they are..however, how can you tell if the person fits in a category of friend,associate,or meddler. here is a short scenario of a friend someone who you can discuss any and all and never be concerned about critical suggestions,a friend will be as close as a brother, or sister, a listener,advise to help your situation,in their quite time they will even pray for you. when you least expect they will help guide you in a direction to move you out of a misguided direction, when you are having difficulty in hard times they will go above and beyond helping you out they may not have monetary help however, their words of encouragement will help build you up instead of down you may not talk all the time it may even be days,weeks sometimes months nevertheless,when you connect it is because their name has popped up in your mind out of the blue and you know you need to get in touch. you know their tone of voice tells you if trouble is in their way or they had you on their mind...trust is a main key..this is a true friend

Associates are people who are around you because they may need you at that particular time. There is always a hidden agenda in their association with you. You feel comfortable around them however,there is a nudging in your spirit which says careful be associated with this person however, the trust level of sharing your personal information is not a comfort zone...reread a true friend a associate is the complete opposite.

The Meddler lures you into a friendship yes, I said, lure with the hidden agenda of wanting to know your business. they will share you with their business in order to find out yours...nevertheless, the meddler is a manipulator you will usually find that a meddler has a friend who has disregard you as a friend or associate...they act as though they are concerned about you and your life however, it is only to report back to their friends or associates who may know you or they know about you because of their knowledge about you through the meddler... The meddler is what is know in American culture as the devils advocate...you must be on guard with the meddler or if you are not wise in conversation or association you may want to stay away from the meddler...manipulation is a dangerous state of mind..they know how to get what they want at any cost no regards to the harm they cause by being a gossiper, news carrier, in other words they play both sides of the fence and have even convinced theirselves they are being a mediator....however, as a principle in my life Amos 2:2 how can two walk together unless they agree...so who is the meddler as a principle in my life they fit in the catagory as a double minded man or woman unstable in all their ways and when a meddler has to gossip,and move people like chess pieces stability is not on their adjenda.
